This is Mark M. Gray's social science research blog. I am a research associate professor at Georgetown University and have a Ph.D. in Political Science and an M.A. in Social Science. I teach and write about the social science of religion, politics, food, exploration, futurism, and popular culture. I am also interested in the differences between how science is perceived in popular culture and how it exists in practice.
